@ Lindsay- Yes, I have tried Neurontin multiple times in the past-last year in fact was the most recent-but I found it to make me really sleepy and have semi-down feelings associated with it. They have mentioned trying another similar drug, if needed. We'll see...Thanks for the help :). I ALWAYS appreciate it!

Hey Rach! My nerve attacks would go through my abdomen and literally bring me to my knees they were so bad. I have been on Neurontin for over a year now and it has helped so much. I still get mini attacks, like if I'm walking around the mall the left thigh will go numb and sometimes "pop" and "crackle". Nerves are tricky things. But the Gabapentin (Neurontin) has helped so much, have they mentioned anything like that to you?

They did nerve conduction tests on my arm too. They ended up telling me my nerves work, which I could have told them myself, because my arm HURT! Haha. I doubt it would hurt and go numb all the time if the nerves didn't work. So basically, they don't know why I hurt all the time. Sometimes it's just as good to not have a reason. I know what's causing my back pain, and it scares the heck out of me! Anyway, I think it's just because your back has been damaged a lot, and the place that was damaged travels over to your arm. Believe me, your whole back and neck are involved with your arm! So just take good care of your arm AND your back. You're a fragile creature, which isn't so bad. :-)
