Quelf

Do you like board games? I'm not really that huge of a board game person but this is sure to be different than any other you've ever played and it is TONS of fun!

One word: Quelf

The game's makers describe the game as: Ages 12 & up / 3-8 players / 60 minutes to play

Quelf is insanity in a box! With this hilariously silly party game, you will have outrageous fun with your family and friends. Quelf will inspire you to use your creativity, wit and sense of humor in ways you've never imagined.

As move around the game board, as one of eight quirky characters, crazy things start to happen. Your friends start talking strangely. Your mom's face is wrapped in toilet paper. Your dad is acting like Dracula. And you are reciting a poem about your armpits.

Each game of Quelf is a new journey into wackiness. When the dust settles and someone crawls away the winner, you realize...you've never had this much fun playing a board game in your life!

Perfect for: family get-togethers, rainy day entertainment, teen parties, youth groups, ice breakers and curing cabin fever.

I was playing today...and thought I'd share a little-known game that is QUITE fun! It also can be played in medium size groups with teams!

Today, I am grateful for: the police at school for letting me in when it was locked, for family and friends and little fun in the midst of homework

Love,
Rachel

Your blog is really interesting, I love meeting Sarcoma survivors since our disease is soooo rare. You're getting married! How exciting...good for you getting on with life and not letting anything get in your way.

Yes, I'm trying to live it up because my chances of being here were literally, 0% so I made my own new statistic :).

Really can't complain!

I wish the same for you and that your nerve pain improves!

I love board games!!

Seriously just added this to my 'buy' list. Mils and I play Scrabble for hours, seriously, a good bottle of wine and some cheese and fruit, and Scrabble, and we'll be good all night (this also works with cereal and orange juice, or any other combination of yummy food and beverage).

You and you're wonderful ideas! And Yay for police letting you into school!

Quelf is going on the xmas list! My family loves playing games when we get together although there is usually very little time for it. However over the holidays we often stay up in the evening playing cards or other games. I'll so have to check this one out :)

Also loved your last post. I almost always remember my dreams! It's sometimes creepy. I would say that 95% of the time I'll remember my dream. Sometimes througout the day I'll be doing something and it will trigger even more detailed memories of what I dreamt that night. It's kinda weird.

Lets see Lets see...
the pain usually begins right underneath my sternum and radiates out through my ribs and down my back. This episode however was strictly abdominals and lower like where my uterus etc. is. Basically the whole length of my 9 inch scar and outwards. A little in my back, up thru my left shoulder and a little in my chest. This is why I was bedridden...I think a war was going on in my body...had major walking problems. The only thing I have found to at least make me semi- comfy are heating pads and hot baths. Sleep is a nightmare.
