Oh, New Year's Eve...

People put so much hype into this night and this year we plan to have an anti-hype New Year's Eve and actually enjoy it. Last year was what some would describe as a "go all out New Year's" and well, it really wasn't what Gabe and I normally do. And it really was not very fun.

So this year we will do the opposite and hang out with some of Gabe's very large immediate family and maybe even play some Quelf ! It sounds lovely and I am looking forward to it...

May your night, day, and 2008 in general, be what you wish! Be safe and do what YOU want!

Happy New Year's Eve!

I thought this quote was rather New Year's Eve-ish:

What I like most about change is that it's a synonym for 'hope.' If you are taking a risk, what you are really saying is, 'I believe in tomorrow and I will be part of it.

-- Linda Ellerbee

Today, I am grateful for: having 2 more weeks of break, being very lucky in many ways, friends, family and God

Love,

Rachel

"THINGS WILL BE GREAT IN 2008"...last night I was out with friends and said the above in conversation...and thought...what a great little motto...so wishing you joy and happiness in 2008...can't wait for July 5th...I figured out the weekends I work in 2008...and am very happy to report, that I am off the weekend of July 5th...just makes it easier to be off than find someone to switch! Enjoy your evening! Cheers!

Hugs,

Kristin :)
