May your 2009 be wonderful in many ways and be a time of learning, growing and healing for all!
Be safe and have fun tonight :). We hope to have a low-key night with friends.
Look for the top posts of 2008 coming soon...
Happy New Year to all and thanks again for the warm wishes, prayers and everything nice from this past year. I'm so grateful!

Oh, New Year's Eve...
People put so much hype into this night and this year we plan to have an anti-hype New Year's Eve and actually enjoy it. Last year was what some would describe as a "go all out New Year's" and well, it really wasn't what Gabe and I normally do. And it really was not very fun.
So this year we will do the opposite and hang out with some of Gabe's very large immediate family and maybe even play some Quelf ! It sounds lovely and I am looking forward to it...
May your night, day, and 2008 in general, be what you wish! Be safe and do what YOU want!
Happy New Year's Eve!
I thought this quote was rather New Year's Eve-ish:
What I like most about change is that it's a synonym for 'hope.' If you are taking a risk, what you are really saying is, 'I believe in tomorrow and I will be part of it.

Today, I am grateful for: having 2 more weeks of break, being very lucky in many ways, friends, family and God
Love,
Rachel
