Blessed William Chaminade has been such an inspiration to me in the way that he lived his life. I wrote a post about him awhile ago-click here to read it.
His feast day is January 22 and I celebrated in my own quiet way but was unable to make the special service in his honor.
Today, I am grateful for weekends, for having a productive Friday, friends, family and God.

That's awesome -thanks.
Since this is also the same day as the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, I'm sure that he'll be happy to help us pray for a triumph of life.
Besides, we know that Bl. Chaminade takes it seriously when we ask for his prayers!
I have never heard of Blessed Chaminade...very inspiring and interesting.
I was just talking to friends this past weekend about Blessed Chaminade and the effect he has had on your life. Thanks for letting us know about his feast day and for reminding us all how powerful prayer can be. You have no idea what an inspiration you are to so many people that you haven't even met!
Rachel;
I just read your story on stltoday.com and in searching more about Blsd. Chaminade, I found your site. You are such an inspiration to all those who pray for miracles for those they love with cancer. I have received new faith from your story and will direct my prayers to the intersession of Blessed Chaminade. Thank you for sharing your story.
