My friend, Elizabeth Daniels (cancer survivor, amazing photographer, etc) launched an amazing online magazine, Waiting Room Magazine, for young adult cancer survivors-the first of its kind. They are hoping to have it in print soon too!
So fun! Congrats, Elizabeth!! She's been working on this for a LONG time!!
Check it out: http://www.waitingroommagazine.com/
Today, I am thankful that: I said 'No' to another holiday party because I needed to clean :), workout, just rest some more; for Hansen's Green Tea Soda-Pomegrante (normally not a soda drinker but green tea+pomegrante=yummy!), for the 1 foot plus of snow, evening church with God and rock music! and family, friends and life.
Lots of love,
Rachel

Good for you on saying no to an xmas party! Ironically even though it can be the best thing for us folks, saying no can also be one of the hardest! I know I always feel bad. But in the long run - sometimes ya just gotta :) So thanks for reminding me that it's ok to say "no" to all the busy things that can take place during the holiday season!
Sounds GREAT..Do you think 52 is young?? I think I am, but who knows..
teehee
I'm glad to be home..and hope you are doing well.
fondly, deena
Thanks Jamie!
Deena-Of course 52 is young! It's all about personality not numbers :)! I can't complain over here...get better!!

I am PROUD of you for saying 'no' to a holiday party. So many people say 'yes' to everything and just, burn out. Myself included.
You are always an inspiration to me. I hope you know that. :)
Dee-Thanks sweetie. SMILES! I am really bad at saying no and I still felt guilty (esp. because I could have seen my grandma but I just couldn't do it).
