In the End

In the end, it seems to have been the right decision. It was not easy to make because there was still thoughts that the alternative would have been preferred. My mind had been set on it. But forces seem to have not been leading me to that choice. After it played out the way it did, it seems to have been beneficial for multiple people and that makes it worthwhile for me. It was not that it was not trying at times-in multiple ways-but it was mostly overcome. Overall though the results were very pleasing and perhaps I would do it the same way over again. It was pretty satisfying on multiple levels.

Today, I am grateful to be closer to break, for a nice dinner to look forward to, for a great weekend, for being able to get into my frozen car this morning and get to school on time for my exam, friends, family and God.

Suggestions from You

Since everyone is SO good at giving me and each other in this AWESOME group suggestions, I thought I'd throw another one out there for you. Then, I'll post the results in a week or 2 for everyone!

Two days of the week I have really long days at school-from about 11 AM to 10 PM. I have to bring lots of foods to snack on. I have a 1-2 hour break each day to eat a meal. I do have access to a microwave though I haven't really used it. I prefer to bring stuff from home because it's usually much healthier, easier and of course, cheaper.

What are your favorite "brown bag" things? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. What a great group this is!

Today, I am grateful that: I haven't gotten sick when many around me have, friends, family, comfy clothes :) and God.

Liddy Shriver Sarcoma Initiative Help

I normally do not ask for money, especially on the blog, but for causes that are dear to me like this one, I have to put this. It's pretty easy on the wallet too (compared to a lot of other stuff).

The amazing organization that I went to Denmark with, The Liddy Shriver Sarcoma Initiative, is in the Facebook "Causes Giving Challenge" competition. It is currently one of the top contenders in the heat of the competition and could possibly win $10,000, $25,000, or $50,000 for sarcoma research (this is what my type of cancer is categorized as). Will you make a $10 donation to help us win a prize? The competition ends February 1st so the sooner, the better! To help and get more details visit http://tinyurl.com/2hmj34.

Feel free to forward to anyone who you think may be interested also.

If this is something you are not interested in or cannot help at this time, I understand. I truly appreciate all your support in the past and everything you do for me! To everyone, THANKS!

Suggestions from you!

So, ladies (and gents), as I said before, I'm doing a project on OB/GYN office (they focus on high risk pregnancies). So I guess I'm giving you a little survey/questionaire. The gentleman can say what they think makes better doctor's offices in general or what would make your visit with your wife, girlfriend, whoever better!

Questions: What would like to see differently at your doctor's office in general or at the OB/GYN's office? What would enhance your experience?? I have thought of robes vs. sheets, calming fountains, perhaps.

Thanks in advance for your help. I will be eternally grateful!

Today, I am grateful for a dinner with friends, exciting things happening and life, friends, family and God.

Music Please

So, this is a late post...I was obviously feeling like I have more energy today--art therapy, lunch with the new (almost) in-laws, art (therapyish) or just art date with a sweet friend and beyond...

I want to have some interactive stuff with my readers--to be able to hear from YOU. I want to know your favorite bands/songs/singers/whatever. The music in my IPOD and on the radio (as usual) is getting old. So, share, share, share. Click "Comments" and leave the information! It's an easy way to help :).

I truly listen to everything and welcome whatever!

Then, I'll compile the list in a week or so and post them and we'll all benefit! Yay!

In the meantime, have a great weekend...

Today, I am grateful for: Art, bonding, friends, family and God.
